Dyrhólaey Beach, south coast of Iceland.
It was perhaps not the best thing for my equipment, for me to venture into the ashfall from Volcano Eyjafjallajökull, but the mood and the dimmed daylight was just out of this world. This image is shot 8th of May 2010 and I was directly under the ash-cloud that was blowing eastwards. This black sand beach turned partially grey from the heavy ashfall.
