If you love nature photography you have come to the right place. Iceland has so much to offer to us photographers. So much that it can actually be a little overwhelming.

Then it’s good to have a local guide, who is also a professional photographer.  I can assist in making the most of the time you have to shoot. Being a photographer myself I understand your needs better than a traditional guide.

Although Iceland has many spectacular landscape locations, I feel that the quality of light is what makes this country so amazing. Photography is all about the light and how we capture its play. I wont tell you to pack up just as the light gets interesting!

The Aldeyjarfoss waterfall is situated in the north of Iceland at the northern part of the Sprengisandur Highland Road which means it is to be found within the Highlands of Iceland. One of the most interesting features of the waterfall is the contrast between the black basalt columns and the white waters of the fall. The river Skjálfandafljót drops here from a height of 20 m. The basalt belongs to a lava field called Frambruni or Suðurárhraun, hraun being the Icelandic designation for lava. These rocky outcrops are named Klasar and Kálfastrandarstrípar. (Christopher Lund/©2015 Christopher Lund)

It’s very easy to get completely caught up with one location, not realizing that just a few minutes away lies an even better one. That is a big part of my drive to travel around my country – I always find something new that surprises me.

So if you are looking for a interesting tour with a guide who understands your needs as a photographer – look no further.

I offer: Private Workshops –  Day Tours – Longer Tours – Camping Adventures
